Job Description:

Seeking a lifelong learner with a passion for leadership and working with others. This position will do a variety of tasks ranging from business consulting, tax planning, and preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns and financials, so a self-motivated, customer-oriented team player is ideal.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares individual, business and other types of tax returns for clients in various types of entities and industries.
• Knowledge of attestation and preparing compilations for business.
• Performs special tax projects and research activities as tax issues arise.
• Communicates with clients, the IRS and other business professionals as needed
• Assists with training and mentoring employees
• Understands and applies work procedures and effectively tailors plans as necessary
• Participates in business development

Preferred education and experience:

• Degree in accounting or related field
• CPA licensing
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and accuracy in all aspects of work
