Kristen McCartney joined H&S in October 2025 and is a member of H&S Companies’ Tax & Accounting team. She brings 20 years of experience to her role. Kristen earned her degree in Accounting from Grand Valley State University, graduating in 2005, and has built a career rooted in strong client relationships and practical problem-solving. She is deeply client focused and believes that success in this profession comes not only from technical skill, but from genuine curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to step into new opportunities to support others.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her two children, an 11yearold daughter and a 7 year old son. Much of her free time is spent being active with her kids, whether playing sports, visiting the park, or enjoying time at the beach. She values sunshine and fresh air and appreciates opportunities to unplug and be present with her family. While she loves exploring locally, Maldives is high on her list of places she would like to travel to someday.
