Michael Sloan joined the Tax & Accounting team in August 2024 and is based in the Cascade office. A 2024 graduate of Grand Valley State University with a degree in Finance, Michael is passionate about helping individuals achieve their financial goals through proactive planning. He works closely with clients to identify opportunities ahead of time, so they can make informed decisions about their financial future. Michael brings a strong work ethic, leadership experience, and an authentic approach to every client interaction, striving to provide honest guidance and meaningful support.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors. He can often be found playing soccer with friends, hiking throughout West Michigan, or spending time at the piano. Michael comes from a family of dedicated professionals, including a teacher, a project manager, and an Army captain, and he credits those influences with helping shape his values and work ethic. One of his proudest accomplishments is graduating from college while simultaneously running a painting company branch, leading a team of six and generating more than $140,000 in seasonal sales. The experience taught him valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork, and perseverance that continue to serve him today.
