Job Description
This role will be responsible for assisting clients with their accounting and finance functions, contributing to the development of our internal accounting services team members, and leading initiatives around the continual enhancement of our accounting service model and process. A successful candidate for this position will be client focused, self-motivated, and continuously learning, while maintaining a caring, authentic, and positive attitude.
Essential Functions:
- Performing/reviewing core functions of client finance and accounting operations: key account reconciliations, month-end close procedures, preparation of financial statements, etc.
- Identifying client issues/deficiencies and assist with recommending solutions
- Providing advice to clients centered on their accounting and finance functions
- Developing work plans, project timelines, and key milestones
- Supervising accounting staff, external or internal
- Managing regulatory requirements and internal reporting deadlines
- Communicating frequently and effectively with client contacts
- Executing projects in a timely, efficient manner
- Taking ownership over internal firm initiatives around the development and implementation of SOPs for accounting services
Preferred education and experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in accounting services
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or another related field
- Active CPA license preferred, but not required
