Job Description:
Seeking a lifelong learner with a passion for servicing clients and working with others. This position will do a variety of tasks ranging from payroll, monthly accounting, and preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, so a self-motivated, customer-oriented team player is ideal.
Essential Functions:
- Prepares financial reports and tax returns
- Completes weekly, monthly, quarterly payrolls and accounts payable for clients.
- Knowledge of payroll laws
- Communicates with clients, the IRS and other business professionals as needed
- Assists with training and mentoring employees
- Understands and applies work procedures and effectively tailors plans as necessary
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Degree in accounting or long history of experience in the field
- Proficiency in Accounting CS Software, Quickbooks, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and accuracy in all aspects of work

Salary: $21.00 per hour
